Coaching Philosophy:

Figure skating has had a huge impact on the person I am today. Being in the sport for over 18 years, I have learned many things about myself and so many valuable life lessons that I currently use to this day. Skills like time management, discipline, and learning to cope with the ups and downs that the sport brings have helped me not only throughout my schooling, but also in the workforce and day to day interactions. Both on and off the ice, I hope to teach all skaters skills that will not only help them to reach their goals in the sport, but also outside of it. I believe in creating a safe environment for everyone to be their true, authentic self without judgement. I hope that when the skaters leave the ice, they are proud of who they are and what they have accomplished. I am currently enrolled at Laurentian, taking current education and a BA in sports psychology with the hopes of becoming a teacher and continuing with the sport.
